Academic Programs

Preston University offers undergraduate and graduate degrees in business, computer science and information technology. A masters degree is also available in adult education and healthcare administration. A doctoral degree is offered in a variety of disciplines.

The following degree programs are offered through Preston University’s distance education system.

Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in a variety of fields including interdisciplinary studies.

Textbooks and syllabi for each course are delivered to the student for home-based study. Completed course work is submitted by mail or e-mail to Preston University faculty for evaluation and grading.

ON-CAMPUS PROGRAMS AT AFFILIATED CAMPUSES

Preston University accepts credits transferred from campuses operated by its officially affiliated partners offering associate, bachelor, master and doctoral programs tailored to the needs of students in the local region. The affiliation with Preston University enables joint enrollment of students in the local school and Preston University.

Upon completion of all requirements, Preston University awards the degree earned by the student. Contact the Registrar or Admissions Office of the affiliated school to obtain details of the specific programs offered. All programs delivered by Preston University through distance education are available at affiliated campuses. Additional programs offered through some of Preston’s partner campuses are listed below.

Academic Calendar
Preston University operates on a continuous enrollment system permitting students to begin their studies at any time of the year.

Courses and programs begin on the first day of each month.

Course Enrollment Dates
Students approved for admission may enroll in courses to begin on the first day of the month following enrollment.

Graduation Dates
Formal graduation ceremonies are held in the U.S. during May each year. Graduates from any of Preston University’s programs are invited to attend.

Library Resources
All students are encouraged to use local library resources in their region. Students are also encouraged to benefit from online library resources and information databases using the Internet and database providers such as Northern Light, available by individual subscription at: www.northernlight.com
